The task.

I worked at Snapfish by HP as a Sr. Interface Engineer for nearly 5 years. This role blended my design background, UI experience and coding skills to help test and develop with various teams on Photo Products and Photo Management.

As part of the Emerging Technologies Group I helped reinvent the User Interface Designs and also created low to high-fidelity Prototypes for User Testing Groups researching the Digital Asset Management ecosystem featuring Share, Tag me and Create Projects.

The design.

I was a Horizontal Design Lead on the Engineering team rolling out Design Specs and Requirements across the Vertical teams for best UI development practices. These examples show the UX/UI path when creating and ordering a Photobook.

Snapfish as a Platform.

The design evolved over 3 main redesign phases. I worked with Engineers to upgrade, modify and integrate Interface Designs into a CSS platform. This allowed Snapfish to partner and rebrand with other large retailers like Walgreens and Walmart. The Adaptive Grid allowed for International Languages.
